Horse Wedding

Bride on Horse
By Jackie M.

Do you have romantic fantasies of riding up to the wedding on a horse?

If you do, then have some horse riding lessons first. See how you feel when actually riding. You can find riding stables by looking through your local yellow pages or doing a google search.

Bride horse ride Once you know the basics, check the route to the church or reception place. Is it safe for horses?

Think about the way you will ride. Sitting astride just isn't practical in a dress so you will possibly have to ride sidesaddle.

About the horse ... Try asking your stables if they would loan and escort you a horse or check the classifieds of wedding magazines.

Perhaps the most practical way would be to choose a pair of horses that pull a carriage.
